Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu (55 km / 2 hrs)

Arrive at Paro International Airport, where our representative will welcome you with traditional Bhutanese warmth. Enjoy a scenic drive to Thimphu, the capital city, passing through beautiful valleys and rivers. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, visit the Tashichho Dzong, a stunning fortress that houses the King’s offices and the central monastic body. Take a leisurely stroll through the streets of Thimphu to explore local shops and cafés.
Overnight stay: Thimphu.

Day 2 Thimphu Sightseeing – A Blend of Tradition & Modernity

After breakfast, set out to explore Thimphu’s cultural and spiritual highlights. Visit the National Memorial Chorten, built in memory of Bhutan’s third King, and the Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world offering panoramic views of the valley. Continue to the Folk Heritage Museum, Textile Museum, and Motithang Takin Preserve to see Bhutan’s national animal. Evening free for shopping at the local handicraft market.

Day 3 Thimphu – Punakha (75 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, drive towards Punakha, crossing the scenic Dochula Pass (3,100m), which offers breathtaking Himalayan views. Visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens, a symbol of peace and stability. Upon arrival in Punakha, visit the majestic Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses, located at the confluence of two rivers. Later, take a short hike to the Suspension Bridge and enjoy the serene views of the valley.

Day 4 Punakha – Paro (125 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, drive back to Paro, a picturesque town surrounded by fertile rice fields and forested hills. En route, stop to visit the Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple), dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kunley, the Divine Madman. Upon arrival in Paro, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, take a walk through Paro town and visit local markets for souvenirs.

Day 5 Paro Sightseeing – Cultural Wonders of Bhutan

After breakfast, explore the cultural treasures of Paro. Visit the National Museum housed in Ta Dzong, followed by Rinpung Dzong, an architectural marvel overlooking the Paro Valley. Later, visit the Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples. The evening is free to relax or enjoy a traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath.

Day 6: Excursion to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang)

After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), Bhutan’s most iconic landmark perched dramatically on a cliffside 900m above the Paro Valley. The trek offers breathtaking views and deep spiritual significance. Legend says Guru Rinpoche flew here on a tigress to meditate. Spend time exploring and soaking in the serene atmosphere before descending.

Day 7 Departure from Paro – Farewell Bhutan

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey. As you bid farewell to this peaceful land, take with you the warmth of Bhutan’s people, the purity of its nature, and memories of a truly divine experience.
