Day 1: Arrival in Jammu – Drive to Katra (50 km / 2 hrs)

Arrive at Jammu Railway Station or Airport, where our representative will greet you with a warm welcome. Begin your journey with a scenic drive to Katra, the base camp for the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. On the way, admire lush green landscapes and the foothills of the Himalayas. Once you reach Katra, check into your hotel and relax after the journey. In the evening, you can stroll through the local market, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy traditional Kashmiri delicacies. Many pilgrims prefer to begin the Vaishno Devi trek at night, but you may also choose to rest and prepare for the following day’s yatra. Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 2: Katra – Vaishno Devi Darshan – Katra

Early morning, embark on the 13 km trek to Vaishno Devi Temple, a spiritual journey that attracts millions of devotees every year. You can walk, hire a pony/palanquin, or opt for a helicopter ride for convenience. En route, soak in the spiritual vibes, chant hymns, and pause at Ardhkuwari, the halfway point where Mata meditated. After reaching the holy shrine, offer prayers to Mata Vaishno Devi and seek blessings. Don’t miss Bhairon Baba Temple, which completes the pilgrimage. Return to Katra by evening after a fulfilling darshan. Relax at your hotel and rejuvenate with a delicious dinner. Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 3: Katra – Srinagar (250 km / 8-9 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir. The journey passes through winding mountain roads, pine forests, and small villages that offer glimpses of local life. On arrival, check into your deluxe houseboat or hotel. In the evening, experience a magical shikara ride on Dal Lake, where floating gardens, markets, and reflections of snow-capped peaks create a picture-perfect setting. This is the essence of Kashmir serene and timeless. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 4: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

Today is dedicated to exploring Srinagar’s most iconic attractions. After breakfast, visit the world-famous Mughal Gardens Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Each garden represents Mughal architectural finesse, with fountains, manicured lawns, and terraced landscapes. Continue your tour with a visit to Shankaracharya Temple, perched on a hill overlooking the city, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Srinagar and Dal Lake. Spend some time strolling through local markets where you can shop for Kashmiri carpets, dry fruits, and pashmina shawls. By evening, return to your hotel or houseboat. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 5: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar (80 km / 2.5 hrs one way)

After breakfast, take a scenic drive to Sonmarg, popularly known as the Meadow of Gold. En route, enjoy views of Sindh River winding through valleys. On arrival, you can hire a pony for an excursion to Thajiwas Glacier, where snow remains throughout the year. Adventure lovers can also try trout fishing or trekking in the region. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, Sonmarg is an ideal place to click stunning photographs and soak in nature’s grandeur. By evening, return to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Srinagar – Gulmarg (50 km / 2 hrs)

Post breakfast, leave for Gulmarg, one of the most popular hill stations in Kashmir. Known as the “Meadow of Flowers,” Gulmarg is also a hub for winter sports like skiing and snowboarding. The highlight of the visit is the Gulmarg Gondola Ride, one of the world’s highest cable cars, which offers unmatched views of the Himalayas. You can also visit the historic St. Mary’s Church and Asia’s highest golf course. Day 8: Pahalgam Local Sightseeing

Day 9: Pahalgam – Jammu Departure (250 km / 8-9 hrs)

After breakfast, drive back to Jammu, bidding farewell to the mesmerizing valleys and mountains of Kashmir. On arrival, transfer to the railway station or airport for your onward journey.
