Day 1: Arrival in Colombo – The Capital Charm

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and meet your tour representative. Proceed to your hotel in Colombo and check in. After some rest, explore Colombo’s colonial heritage and vibrant streets. Visit Galle Face Green, Old Parliament Building, and Independence Square. Stroll through Pettah Market and enjoy shopping for local crafts, gemstones, and spices. In the evening, relax at your hotel or dine at one of Colombo’s seaside restaurants offering stunning sunset views over the Indian Ocean. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 2: Colombo to Kandy (115 km / 3.5 hrs)

After breakfast, depart for Kandy, the cultural heart of Sri Lanka. En route, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can witness elephants being cared for and bathed in the river. Continue to Kandy, a UNESCO World Heritage city nestled around a scenic lake. In the evening, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of Buddhism’s most revered shrines. Day 3: Explore Kandy – Nature and Spirituality

Day 4: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya (80 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, drive through scenic hills to Nuwara Eliya, often called Little England for its colonial charm and cool climate. En route, stop at a tea plantation and factory to learn about the art of Ceylon tea-making and sample freshly brewed varieties. Upon arrival, check in and visit Gregory Lake, where you can enjoy boating or a lakeside stroll. Explore Hakgala Botanical Garden and admire its vibrant blooms. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 5: Nuwara Eliya to Bentota (210 km / 6 hrs)

After breakfast, depart for Bentota, a serene coastal town known for its pristine beaches and water sports. En route, admire lush greenery and cascading waterfalls. Upon arrival, relax at your resort or take a walk on Bentota Beach, famous for its golden sands and tranquil waters. Adventure lovers can enjoy jet skiing, banana boat rides, or parasailing. Day 6: Bentota Sightseeing – Beaches & River Safari

Today, enjoy a day filled with nature and adventure. Visit the Turtle Hatchery, where baby turtles are nurtured before being released into the ocean. Later, embark on a Madu River Boat Safari through mangroves and tiny islets, spotting exotic birds and monkeys along the way. Day 7 Bentota to Galle & Colombo (140 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Galle, a charming coastal city known for its Dutch colonial architecture. Explore Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where cobbled streets, old churches, and boutique cafés create an old-world ambiance. Visit Unawatuna Beach for a short swim or relaxation.
